Our large XXL Tonguedrum can be played with mallets, with your hand and you can sit on the drum while it is played. Fun to do with two persons. The black rubber feet you do see in the picture allow you to flip the drum 90 degree and someone can lay on the drum while it is played. This Spacedrum has 9 tones. Spacedrum® 9 notes with an Hokkaido scale. Diameter of 24" with the largest range (E3 --> C5).

This model produces a longer sustained sound and greater volume than the 8 note models, while respecting the original Spacedrum sound. It creates remarkable bass tones.

Larger in size than the conventional 9 note models, it has a diameter of 24 " and can create remarkable bass tones.

The manufacturing process of Spacedrum is the result of several years of study and research. This fourth generation Spacedrum is made out of a special stainless alloy which has properties that are particularly adapted for outdoor playing. It is completely rustproof, even in moist climates (take it to the beach!), and it stays tuned over many years (in normal conditions of use).
